PFLAG for...Self
Regardless of how you identify in terms of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, PFLAG is here to support you and your family. PFLAG for...FamiliesPFLAG started with families. For more than 40 years, we have been providing peer-to-peer support, publications, toolkits, and other resources to make sure family members of people who are LGBTQ+ get the support they need in the way that best serves their needs. This allows families to further support, affirm, and advocate on behalf of their LGBTQ+ loved ones.

Have you asked one of the following questions, or one like it?
What's the best way to tell my family I'm gay? Will they still love me?
What will dormitory life be like for my gay child?
How can I help make my workplace more LGBTQIA+ friendly?
How can I show support of an LGBTQIA+ loved one?
How can I reconcile my loved one's sexual orientation with my faith?
What specific LGBTQIA+ health topics should I address with my loved one?
Where can I turn to interact with others who share similar experiences?
If so, you're not alone. That's why there's PFLAG Sauk Valley, an organization that provides support
and camaraderie so that people don’t have to face those questions alone.
